UFC full fight video: Nate Diaz defeats Anthony Pettis to score first win in three years

Following a two-fight series with Conor McGregor in which both fighters claimed a victory, Diaz’s name was never bigger, but it would be a long wait to see Diaz compete again after his second clash with McGregor. Diaz’s value was raised exponentially after a thrilling majority decision loss to McGregor at UFC 202 and he wouldn’t take another fight until signing on to face Pettis in a welterweight bout three years later.
The bout was a dream fight of sorts, with the popular Diaz taking on Pettis, a former world champion who was coming off of a stunning second-round knockout of Stephen Thompson. It was Diaz who emerged victorious at UFC 241, with his non-stop pressure carrying him to a unanimous decision victory.
Diaz has only fought once more since then, but he returns to action this Saturday at UFC 263 in Glendale, Ariz., where he takes on top welterweight contender Leon Edwards in the first-ever non-main event, non-title fight scheduled for five rounds in UFC history.
